Non-Formal Education – Accelerated Learning Pathways (NFE-ALP)ESEF, in collaboration with UNICEF, organized a one-day training workshop on mentoring for NF-ALP centers at the ESEF Head Office, Peshawar. The session was attended by District Program Officers,M&E Assistants, and selected master trainers.Representing the Managing Director ESEF, Director Program Mr. Habib ur Rehman, in his opening remarks, emphasized the critical role of non-formal education interventions in addressing the challenge of 4.9 million out-of-school children in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He highlighted the importance of transparent selection criteria, proper identification of learners, and meaningful community engagement to ensure long-term sustainability of ALP centers.The training was delivered by Mr. Munir Ali Shah, Senior Instructor at DPD, who facilitated the session in an engaging and inclusive manner. The workshop primarily focused on building mentoring competencies, strengthening the capacity of field staff to provide effective teaching and learning support within the ALP framework, and outlining the rollout plan for establishing ALP centers across various districts of the province.In the concluding session, Ms. Gulnaz Jabeen from UNICEF responded to questions raised by participants and appreciated ESEF for efficiently organizing the workshop. The event concluded with the distribution of certificates among the participants.
